ON MY RADAR
Your phone says your photos are safely in the cloud, so it feels like the problem is solved. But cloud storage, syncing and a real backup are not always the same thing. That difference only becomes obvious when something important disappears.
GTA VI is no longer just another game release. After more than a decade of waiting, the expectation around it is enormous. It made me think about how difficult it must be to build anything when people already expect it to be perfect.
You type your password, then the website asks for a code from your phone. It can feel like an unnecessary extra step, but that small interruption can be the difference between somebody knowing your password and actually getting into your account.
SSL certificates are one of those things we barely notice until they expire. Now their lifetime is getting much shorter. It sounds inconvenient, but I think it says something useful about where infrastructure is going: automate it or eventually regret it.
No-code feels like a recent revolution, but we have been abstracting technology for decades. Bubble takes that idea much further, while still giving builders something I consider essential: real control over how an application works.
Temporary code has a bad habit of sticking around. The real problem is not that the code is ugly, but that months later nobody remembers why it was written that way in the first place.
